Amargant

The lighting project for Amargant addresses the need to optimize the visual experience in a commercial space with high functional density. It is an environment where clarity, organization, and product legibility are essential for the proper functioning of the whole. The main objective was to develop a lighting solution that provided uniformity, efficiency, and visual comfort, without interfering with the architectural logic of the space.

Lighting strategy

The proposal is based on a continuous linear system of LED fixtures integrated into the grid of the false ceiling. This arrangement reinforces the geometry of the space and defines the directionality of the pathways, facilitating user orientation among the different corridors. Light thus becomes a tool of order that organizes movement and visually structures the environment.

The design focuses on uniform and shadow-free lighting, ensuring a correct perception of volumes, textures, and colors in the displayed products. The color temperature helps maintain a clear and precise atmosphere, suitable for retail spaces where color fidelity is a priority.

Architectural integration

From a formal point of view, the lighting is integrated into the ceiling plane, respecting the existing modulation and avoiding any unnecessary prominence. The result is a lighting language that is coherent with the architecture: sober, functional, and perfectly aligned with the aesthetics of the space.

The lines of light, arranged in parallel, create a continuous visual rhythm that emphasizes the depth of the space and reinforces the feeling of spaciousness. This longitudinal reading not only enhances the user's orientation but also contributes to an orderly and balanced perception of the whole.

Comfort and efficiency

The control of glare and the proper distribution of light flow ensure a high level of visual comfort for both customers and staff of the establishment. On a technical level, energy efficiency was prioritized through the use of low-consumption LED fixtures with a long lifespan, reducing maintenance costs and environmental impact.

The Amargant project demonstrates how well-planned lighting can transcend its technical function to become a structuring element of the space. Light not only illuminates but also organizes, guides, and defines the visual identity of the place, accompanying daily activities without imposing itself upon them.
