The Johan Cruyff Stadium, inaugurated on August 27, 2019, marks a new era in the youth football of FC Barcelona. This space, designed to host matches for Barça Atlètic and the youth teams, reflects the club's innovative spirit: combining athletic performance, comfort, and sustainability.
Light designed for the player's well-being
LUXES participated in the project by developing the interior lighting of the stadium, installing profiles and LED lamps from the ZULYT range, designed to provide optimal visibility and superior visual comfort in non-sporting areas.
The lighting fixtures were integrated into locker rooms, rest areas, hallways, press rooms, and technical areas, creating a warm and functional atmosphere. This ambient light helps reduce visual fatigue, assisting players in relaxing before the game or recovering after exertion.
Design, comfort, and efficiency
The interior lighting project not only enhances the visual experience for players and visitors, but also provides a significant energy benefit: thanks to high-efficiency LED technology, electrical consumption has been reduced by more than 80% compared to the previous installation.
This bet reinforces the club's commitment to sustainability and energy efficiency, making the stadium shine with a more responsible and lasting light.
A light that accompanies every moment
The lighting designed by LUXES is not limited to fulfilling a technical function: it accompanies the emotions experienced within the stadium. In the moments leading up to the match, it enhances concentration; during halftime, it invites calm; and after the competition, it provides a welcoming and balanced environment.
